This policy reflects an offline app with no analytics, advertising, accounts, or cloud sync.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the mobile application. It does not govern Apple’s App Store, your device operating system, or services you choose to use independently of the app.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect personal information or usage data through the app. The app does not require an account and does not connect to a developer-operated server.

In particular, we do not receive:

  • your name, email address, phone number, or other contact details;
  • precise or approximate location;
  • device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or IP addresses;
  • usage analytics, search history, diagnostics, or crash reports;
  • photos, contacts, calendars, microphone, camera, or health data; or
  • payment or financial information.

3. Information stored on your device

The app may store settings, display preferences, favorites, and recently viewed celestial objects locally on your device so that features work as expected. This information is not transmitted to us and we cannot access it.

You can remove locally stored information by using any reset option provided in the app or by deleting the app. Copies may remain in device backups controlled by you or your operating-system provider until those backups are deleted or expire.

4. Third-party services

The app does not include third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, social-login, or cloud-storage SDKs. When you download or update the app, Apple may process information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not control that processing.

5. Sharing, sale, and retention

Because we do not receive personal information through the app, we do not sell, rent, share, or retain it. We do not use personal information for advertising or profiling, and no app data is transferred internationally by us.

6. Your choices and rights

We do not hold a server-side profile or personal-data record about you, so there is ordinarily no information for us to access, correct, export, or delete. You control the information stored locally through your device and the app’s settings.

7. Security

Keeping app activity on your device reduces exposure to online data risks. You remain responsible for securing your device, operating-system account, and backups with appropriate protections such as a passcode and current software updates.

8. Changes to this policy

If the app’s information practices change, we will update this policy and its effective date before the new practices apply. Where required, we will also provide notice in the app and request permission before collecting information.
